Just wanted to give you some feedback...
First I want to compliment/commend you for driving this type of organization! I know it takes high energy/drive and time and you are doing something really great for single Rochester men and women. I think no matter what people will say -- we all want a special someone in our lives but the process/formula for making it happen is almost like winning the power ball.... if you can just "settle" ... it's not too tough... If you set your sights higher...it's tough and even takes a fair amount of luck.. although you must generate your own luck.... It's this last part that is tough for lots of people -- having the courage to put themself in the ring and take the blows and gettingknocked back out...especially if this has happened a few times.
So guaranteed, you have already affected people's lives in a very positive way!
The event last night is testimonial that there are lots of people who want to be with someone...and of course that was only the tip of the iceberg...
So keep up the good work! Be sure to add me to your distribution list! I can't make the bike outing Saturday but want to be kept apprised of what's happening.
And by the way, if you need some coordination help with anything, please
contact me... I would be glad to chip in where I could ...

This group is getting more FUN all the time! I really enjoy all the GREAT ideas that people are coming up with! Being single isn't so bad after all....I think I found my nitch. I had a BLAST at the bike trip in Lanesboro. I surprised myself that I could bike a whole 26 miles and the company was GREAT! I love the outdoors and it was fun to do it with others that enjoy outdoor activities as much as I do. It is GREAT that you are getting me out away from work and "parenting" to do something for myself, while meeting a lot of other FUN people that are also single and have similar interests.

I want to take a second and thank all the folks who have pitched in and made this a successful night. So if the decorators and the accountants would raise their hands, Lets give them a round of applause!
I also want to single out two people because without them none of us would be here tonight.
They have touched and enriched our lives in countless ways. They have put endless hours and energy into their causes and due to their efforts, they have been very successful!

Jill has put together Rochester’s most successful and fastest growing single group ever. Within a year, she built an organization that meets once a month and gives people a chance to meet others. Her past successful events: Hawaiian Luau, a Paris and an Italian theme party, a watermelon whap. SS has spurred other social events such as a bike rides, boating, movie nights, dinner/play, barbecues, golf outings, sporting events, book club and more.
Jane has held Beginning Experience, which is a peer grief resolution ministry, together for 3 years. She has done a great job in furthering its mission, spreading the word, and inspiring all those who come in contact with BE. Because of her personal commitment, she has helped numerous folks along their path. In some ways BE is a family environment that supports numerous independent social events that occur throughout the year.
